On April 7, 2025, CMSMG will officially turn 11! For our 11th year, we’ve decided to kick things in gear and build our team. As the president of this growing music company, I’ve got to be honest. It has been difficult building a lasting team of individuals, but it was important for us to look at the potential root causes of the problem.

We’re currently a team of 5, but we’ve got a long way to go. We understand that the landscape of the music industry is ever-evolving, and with that comes the need for a diverse and dynamic team that embodies creativity and passion. We know the importance of good music and we hope to show why we’re necessary not only in our community but in the broader music scene as well.

To achieve this, we’re excited to bring back various events, including The Creative Set, which aims to foster collaboration and innovation among artists and creatives. These events will not only help to grow our brand and our reach but also serve as a platform for building capital that we can reinvest in our artists and initiatives. It has become increasingly apparent that there are countless talented artists in our community who deserve the chance to shine, and we want to be the catalyst that helps them take that next step.

We’ve got to be the change we want to see. That’s why we’re extending the invitation for chosen creatives to connect with us and join our team. We want to foster a nurturing environment where artists can flourish and express their gifts. We believe that this is not just a business opportunity, but a chance to make a meaningful impact in the world through music—which is needed now more than ever.
